Bills!!!

Today the kids cheered on the Bills from home with Mame while Matt and I had a much needed getaway to the Bills game.  It was epic - the bills came from a 21 pt deficit to WIN, breaking a 15 game losing streak against the Patriots.  They are now 3-0 for the season.  In addition, Matt won field passes for the pre-game warmups so we had fun watching the players and taking some photos.  It was sunny and summer-like weather as you can see from the gorgeous blue skies in Western NY!

Melissa & Josh's Wedding

Teagan has become a professional flower girl.  This time her gig was for Aunt Melissa and Uncle Josh's wedding outside of Boston.  It was a fun weekend and a beautiful wedding.  The weather was beautiful and the backdrop was a picturesque New England setting.  It was an awesome day!  Melissa looked gorgeous and we were SO happy to have her marry such a perfect husband.

Five Months

Little Bub turned 5 months old on Sunday.  Things have been crazy 'round here so I am just getting to this today.  All of his gorgeous baby hair is falling out, but he is still a happy, handsome guy!  Or at least my Mommy goggles tell me that.

Allergic Reaction

Poor Declan had an allergic reaction to something yesterday and broke out in hives all over his body.  We took him to the pediatrician this morning and they think it's a reaction to the amoxicillin he has been taking for an ear infection.  We stopped the antibiotic, but they want me to keep an eye on the foods I am eating in case the hives come back.  There is a chance it could be an allergy to something I have eaten.  The hives are better today, although he still has a few here and there.  He seems fussy today.  He has been fighting a nap for 5 hours which isn't like him.  Hopefully it IS a reaction to the meds, because food allergies like eggs or dairy are much harder to deal with.  I hope as the medicine leaves his system he will be back to normal.

We traveled to the Chicago area to visit my Grandma and bring the kids to see their Great Grandma.  We all had a great time staying with family and enjoyed visiting and many laughs.  The kids did great on the looong car rides, even better than I had hoped for.  Here is the trip in photo review:
