Both kids went for their first "real" haircuts today. Teagan has of course had hers cut several times but she has never let us take her somewhere so I have cut it. She was very brave and decided she was ready for real haircuts. Declan had his first real real haircut too, he was overdue and as cute as his little shaggy mop and baby curls were, it was in his eyes and looking a little shaggy. They both did great and enjoyed their lollypop treats afterwards.

Love this, they are so sweet

Teagan had her 4 yr checkup on May 31 and was given a clean bill of health. She was 42" tall (90%ile) and weighed 40 lbs (80%ile).

Both kids have since been through a case of Hand, Foot and Mouth and luckily we are all healthy again and enjoying lots of outside time in this nice summer weather.

Sunday Funday

After a busy day yesterday we had another fun and busy day planned today. Matt had gotten tickets to the local Redwings baseball game through work because there was a scheduled appearance by Plex from Yo Gabba Gabba. This happened to be at the same time as Teagan's friend Evelyn's 4th Birthday Princess Tea Party. With some schedule juggling, we managed to go as early as possible to see Plex and scooted over to Evelyn's in time for the start of her party. We didn't get to stay and watch the baseball game, but it was a little cold and wet for a baseball game today anyway.

Evelyn's 4th Birthday Princess Tea Party was a lot of fun. Teagan enjoyed wearing her new Sleeping Beauty dress and also wearing some of Evelyn's dress up heels. The girls enjoyed "tea" and fruit dipped in pink and purple cool whip. Then they made beaded necklaces, did a treasure hunt, and played on Evelyn's new playset. Declan had fun playing with the toys and also on the playset outside. The yucky skies cleared in time for the last treasure hunt stop outside on the playset and it was beautiful and sunny. Declan decided he really likes slides, especially fast, wavy slides like Evelyn's.
